As a white American involved in the broader witchcraft/Pagan spiritual community, I feel as though my practice is incomplete if it ignores all that has been taken from marginalized groups, particularly the Black and Indigenous American communities, particularly with regard to spiritual practices. Ancestor work is a daily practice for me and this includes understanding the crimes of my ancestors, mourning all the lives, knowledge, and opportunities that were lost to white supremacy and genocide, and consistently working toward eradicating the inequality that I benefit from.

 Energize Your Activism is a 40 day challenge that I created to help people cultivate a habit out of staying engaged in un-learning racism personally and committing to endeavor to deconstruct systemic racism. While it was designed to help address and understand struggles of Black Americans, I will be building similar courses and resources which focus on other marginalized groups. I welcome any and all constructive input or criticisms. Please send me an email with any information you have to share.
